Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your baking dish and the other ingredients.
  2. Slice the zucchini lengthwise into 1/4-inch thick slices, brush lightly with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish with olive oil. Layer half of the zucchini slices, half of the ricotta, half of the marinara, and half of the mozzarella. Repeat layers.
  4. Sprinkle dried oregano over the top layer.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the zucchini is tender and the cheese is bubbling.
  6. Let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
