Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together 1 cup of unsalted butter, 1 cup of light brown sugar, and 1 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add 2 large eggs one at a time, followed by 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter-sugar mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in 2 cups of butterscotch chips.
  7. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
