Ingredients
  

  • 16 large fresh mushrooms stems removed
  • 1 cup Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked Italian sausage, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Stuff each mushroom cap generously with the cheese and sausage mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
