  4. Crumble feta cheese over the spinach layer and press down gently.
  5. Fold the pastry in half and cut it into 1-inch strips. Twist each strip several times.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with optional garlic powder, black pepper, and flaky salt.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
