Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust for spice preference
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Add the chicken thighs and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat the chicken evenly with the spice mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until well combined.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken thighs on the prepared baking sheet. Brush half of the spicy honey sauce over the chicken.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, remove the chicken and brush with the remaining sauce. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes. Slice and serve garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
