Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open the Pillsbury Biscuit Dough and separate each biscuit. Roll each into a 6-inch rope and cut into four equal pieces.
  3. Bring at least 4 cups of water to a boil and dissolve 1/4 cup of baking soda. Boil the dough pieces for 15 seconds on each side.
  4. Transfer boiled dough to the baking sheet using a slotted spoon. Whisk together one egg with a splash of water and brush onto the dough pieces.
  5. Sprinkle coarse salt over each dough piece while the egg wash is still wet.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes or until puffed and golden brown, keeping an eye on them.
  7. Let the bites cool for a few minutes before serving them warm with your favorite dips.
