Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Open the Pillsbury Biscuit Dough and separate each biscuit. Roll each into a 6-inch rope and cut into four equal pieces.
- Bring at least 4 cups of water to a boil and dissolve 1/4 cup of baking soda. Boil the dough pieces for 15 seconds on each side.
- Transfer boiled dough to the baking sheet using a slotted spoon. Whisk together one egg with a splash of water and brush onto the dough pieces.
- Sprinkle coarse salt over each dough piece while the egg wash is still wet.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until puffed and golden brown, keeping an eye on them.
- Let the bites cool for a few minutes before serving them warm with your favorite dips.
