  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method
 

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the sweet potatoes, green beans, smoked sausage, onion, and garlic.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, thyme, black pepper, and salt. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the vegetables and sausage in the slow cooker.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the mixture, then pour in the chicken broth. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the sweet potatoes are tender.
  5. Once cooked, stir the mixture gently before serving to combine the flavors.
