Step-by-Step Instructions for Taco Pasta
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water, add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for 1–2 minutes until onion is translucent.
  4. Sprinkle in taco seasoning, dried oregano, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes. Stir and add water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Fold in cooked pasta shells, jarred salsa, and cheddar cheese. Stir for 2 minutes or until cheese melts and forms a creamy sauce.
  6. Spoon the mixture into bowls and top with garnishes like additional cheese and sour cream. Serve immediately.
