Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large pot, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat until it's shimmering.
  2. Add the sliced chicken sausage to the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli florets to the pot, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the orzo, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce the heat to a simmer, cover the pot, and cook for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Remove the pot from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
