Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together ½ cup mayonnaise and 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar until smooth. Add ½ teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon oregano, salt, and pepper to taste, stirring to combine. Gently fold in 2 cups of shredded lettuce, ½ cup sliced red onion, and ½ cup banana peppers until well-coated. Set aside.
  2. Take 4 sub rolls and layer them with 4 ounces of salami, 4 ounces of pepperoni, and 4 ounces of turkey evenly divided among the rolls. Top each meat layer with 4 slices of provolone cheese.
  3. Preheat your oven's broiler to high. Once hot, carefully place the assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet and broil for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and starting to brown.
  4. Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven, let the sandwiches cool for a minute, then layer fresh tomato slices on top of the melted cheese, season lightly with salt and pepper, followed by a scoop of your prepared grinder salad. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Close each sandwich, pressing down gently to meld the ingredients. Slice in half and serve immediately.
