Step-by-Step Instructions

  6. Cook apples for 5 minutes until softened, then pour in apple cider and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer covered for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Uncover, increase heat, and cook for 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce, adjusting seasoning as desired.
  9. Serve the chicken with caramelized apples and sauce, garnished with fresh thyme.
