- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare the muffin tin with liners or spray.
- Mash about three ripe bananas until smooth with a few lumps. Stir in ½ cup melted butter.
- Add 1 teaspoon baking soda, a pinch of salt, and ½ cup sugar. Mix well, then stir in 1 beaten egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour, preserving a few lumps.
- Fill muffin cups halfway with batter and create a well for Nutella.
- Add a generous teaspoon of Nutella to each well, then top with more batter.
- Swirl the Nutella into each cup with a toothpick. Bake for 18-20 minutes, checking for doneness.
- Cool the muffins in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
