Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together mirin, sake, tamari, miso paste, roasted sesame oil, ginger, and honey until smooth.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a dish or bag, pour the marinade over, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Remove salmon from marinade. Grill skin-side down for 6-8 minutes or sauté in a skillet for 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer cooked salmon to a plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds and scallions, and serve hot.
