- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle measuring approximately 12x16 inches.
- Spread a generous layer of marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle a thick layer of grated mozzarella cheese over the marinara sauce.
- Layer on your chosen meats and olives, spreading them evenly over the cheese.
- Starting from one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log shape and pinch the seam to seal.
- Place the rolled Stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Whisk an egg and brush it liberally over the top of the Stromboli.
- Bake the Stromboli in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, until golden and puffy.
- Allow the Stromboli to cool on a wire rack for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
