- Prepare the pizza dough by allowing it to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough to a rectangular shape approximately 1/4 inch thick.
- Layer the fillings: start with provolone cheese, followed by Genoa salami, pepperoni, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Roll the Stromboli tightly from one edge and pinch the seams to seal.
- Position the Stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet and cut shallow slits on top.
- Whisk together the egg and water; brush it over the Stromboli and sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serve with marinara sauce.
