Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons water if needed

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, chocolate protein powder, almond butter, honey, mini chocolate chips, peppermint extract, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Mix the ingredients together until well combined. If the mixture is too dry, add water one tablespoon at a time until it reaches a sticky but manageable consistency.
  3. Once combined, use your hands to form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the protein balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Refrigerate the protein balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Store the protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
