Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the green cabbage into 8 wedges, keeping the core intact.
  3. Sear cabbage wedges in olive oil in a skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Sauté diced red onion for 3-4 minutes until translucent, then add minced garlic for another minute.
  5. Deglaze with chicken broth, whisk in cream cheese, then add heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and herbs. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Return cabbage to skillet, coat with sauce, cover with foil, and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Uncover and baste cabbage, then bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until tender and caramelized.
