  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the jumbo shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  4. Drizzle the lemon juice over the shrimp and toss to combine.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
