Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat halibut fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with garlic powder, paprika, sea salt, and pepper.
  2. In a large non-stick skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Gently place halibut fillets in the skillet and cook undisturbed for about 4 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove halibut from skillet. In the same skillet, melt additional butter, add fresh minced garlic, sauté for 30 seconds, then pour in lemon juice.
  5. Plate the halibut and drizzle the garlic-lemon butter sauce over the top.
