Step-by-Step Instructions for Honey BBQ Meatloaf
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Sauté diced onion and minced garlic in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes until softened.
- In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, whole milk, seasoned breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and seasonings. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add ground beef, pork, and the onion-garlic mixture to the bowl, mixing gently until just combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing down gently.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, honey, grape jelly, apple cider vinegar, and Dijon mustard. Spread one-third of the glaze over the meatloaf.
- Bake for 45 minutes, keeping an eye on it for browning.
- After 45 minutes, spread another third of the glaze on top and continue baking for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove from oven, let rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve with remaining glaze drizzled on top.
