Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and position the oven rack to the lower-middle section.
  2. Roll out your chilled pie crust and fit it into your pie dish, trimming excess. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Chop fresh pecans into bite-sized pieces and spread them evenly in the bottom of the pre-baked crust.
  5. Pour the filling mixture over the arranged pecans, filling it nearly to the top.
  6. Bake the pie for 55-60 minutes until the edges set while the center remains slightly jiggly.
  7. Allow the pie to cool at room temperature for at least 2 hours before slicing.
