Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt ½ cup of butter in a medium saucepan over low heat and mix in ⅔ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder until smooth.
  3. Stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar, followed by 2 large eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk 1 cup of all-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon of baking powder, and ¼ teaspoon of salt, then gradually stir into the wet mixture.
