Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and fine sea salt. Set aside.
  3. Beat softened butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until just incorporated.
  5. Gradually mix flour mixture into wet ingredients until combined. Fold in warm caramel.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop dough onto lined baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
