Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Cook the breakfast sausages in a frying pan over medium heat until browned and heated through, about 5-7 minutes. Slice into rounds.
  3. Carefully cut a "V" shape down the length of the baguette, leaving the bottom intact. Scoop out the soft interior.
  4. Brush the inside of the hollowed baguette with melted butter.
  5. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk, then fold in cheeses, scallions, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the egg mixture into the hollowed baguette and arrange the sausage slices on top.
