Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by placing a heavy skillet or griddle over medium heat. Allow it to warm up for about 2–3 minutes.
  2. Take your slices of sourdough bread and generously spread softened butter on one side of each piece.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy ricotta, shredded mozzarella, and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir them together until well-blended.
  4. With your skillet heated, place two slices of bread buttered side down onto the cooking surface. Spread a generous layer of the cheese mixture evenly over both slices.
  5. Position another slice of bread on top of each sandwich, buttered side facing up. Cook the sandwiches for about 3–4 minutes.
  6. Using a spatula, gently flip the sandwiches to cook the other side. Grill for another 3–4 minutes.
  7. Once both sides are perfectly grilled, remove the sandwiches from the skillet. Let them cool for a moment before slicing them in half.
