Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by placing a heavy skillet or griddle over medium heat. Allow it to warm up for about 2–3 minutes.
- Take your slices of sourdough bread and generously spread softened butter on one side of each piece.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy ricotta, shredded mozzarella, and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir them together until well-blended.
- With your skillet heated, place two slices of bread buttered side down onto the cooking surface. Spread a generous layer of the cheese mixture evenly over both slices.
- Position another slice of bread on top of each sandwich, buttered side facing up. Cook the sandwiches for about 3–4 minutes.
- Using a spatula, gently flip the sandwiches to cook the other side. Grill for another 3–4 minutes.
- Once both sides are perfectly grilled, remove the sandwiches from the skillet. Let them cool for a moment before slicing them in half.
