Cooking Steps
  1. Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add 8 oz of short pasta and cook until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  2. In the same pot, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat. Whisk in 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour to create a roux.
  3. Gradually pour in 1 cup of heavy cream while whisking constantly. Add Boursin cheese and white cheddar cheese, stirring until melted.
  4. Gently fold in the drained pasta until coated with the cheese sauce, adjusting consistency with milk if needed.
