  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and pour the honey mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. For a caramelized finish, broil the chicken on high for an additional 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
