Ingredients

  • 2 cups boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions sliced (for garnish)

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through.

  4. Pour the honey-soy mixture over the chicken in the skillet. Stir well to coat the chicken evenly. Cook for another 3-5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
