Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs beef chuck cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 carrots sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the beef cubes and brown on all sides.
  4. Stir in paprika and caraway seeds, cooking for another minute.
  5. Add bell pepper, beef broth, diced tomatoes, and carrots.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours until the meat is tender.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
