Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with melted butter.
- Unfold phyllo dough and cover with a damp towel. Layer seven sheets of phyllo, brushing with melted butter between each.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together semolina flour, eggs, granulated sugar, whole milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Pour the filling over the phyllo base, then layer remaining phyllo sheets on top, brushing each with melted butter.
- Score the top layers lightly with a knife. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
- Drizzle honey over the warm pie and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before slicing.
