In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika until well combined.
Rub the garlic butter mixture all over the flank steak, ensuring it’s evenly coated. Let it marinate at room temperature for about 30 minutes to enhance the flavor.
Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
Once the oil is hot, add the marinated flank steak to the pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for 10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
