  • 4 pieces Bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil or avocado oil as a substitute
For the Seasoning
  • 1 oz Ranch dressing mix 1 packet; can use homemade ranch seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder or use less fresh garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy cream or half-and-half for a lighter option
  • 1 cup Chicken stock or vegetable stock as a substitute
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley optional for garnish

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  3. Pat the chicken thighs dry, drizzle with olive oil, and rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken.
  4. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Remove the chicken and deglaze the skillet with chicken stock, scraping up browned bits.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and parsley, simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Nestle the chicken back into the skillet and cover; simmer on low for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and your choice of side dishes.
