Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil. Allow it to boil for 1 minute without stirring.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt until the peanut butter is fully melted and incorporated.
  3. Add the quick-cooking oats to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a cookie scoop or two spoons to form the cookies.
  5. Let the cookies sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to set. If you want to speed up the process, you can place them in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Once set, enjoy your delicious no-bake cookies!
