Step-by-Step Instructions for Easter Poke Cake
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix cake ingredients in a large bowl until smooth. Divide into four bowls and color each batch.
- Grease the 9x13 inch baking dish and spoon in colored batter to create swirls. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden. Cool for 10 minutes.
- Poke holes into the warm cake, spacing them about an inch apart, to allow the pudding to seep in.
- Whisk together pudding and milk. Pour over the cake, filling the holes. Spread remaining pudding and chill for at least 2 hours.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Spread over the cake and decorate as desired.

Notes
Chill cake overnight for best flavor, avoid poking holes too closely, use chilled cream for best whipped results, and add sprinkles just before serving.
