For the Loaf
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour Sifted
  • 1 cup Apple Cider Preferably fresh
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
For the Topping
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 1 cup Cinnamon Sugar Mix sugar with cinnamon for dusting

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the apple cider, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  8. Brush the warm loaf with melted butter and coat with cinnamon sugar.
  9. Slice and serve for a cozy morning treat.
