  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Jalapeños optional
  • 1 medium Avocado sliced
  • 1/2 cup Black Olives optional
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions sliced

Step-by-Step Instructions for Walking Taco Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Add diced onion to a large skillet over medium heat and sauté until soft, then add ground beef, cooking until browned.
  3. Mix in taco seasoning and 1/2 cup of water, allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in chili beans and Rotel or preferred salsa, simmering for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Spread half of the crushed tortilla chips in the baking dish, layer with the beef mixture, then sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before garnishing with toppings and serving.
