  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
For the Flavor
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese melted
  • 4 oz crispy bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup canned corn drained
  • 1 can diced green chilies drained
  • 1 medium diced red bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper to taste
For the Finish
  • 2 tablespoons diced green onions
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For Serving
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 1 loaf crusty bread

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Stir in cheddar cheese, bacon, corn, and green chilies.
  4. Add red bell pepper, green onions, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper; mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and smooth the surface.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes, then serve warm with tortilla chips or crusty bread.
