Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Pat the boneless skinless chicken breasts dry and season them with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet, let it rest for 5 minutes, and slice into thin strips.
  5. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread basil pesto evenly over each flatbread.
  6. Distribute sliced chicken over the pesto, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese, and scatter halved cherry tomatoes on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
