  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese consider using part-skim for lower fat
  • 4 oz cream cheese low-fat cream cheese can be substituted
  • 3 cloves minced garlic fresh garlic is preferred
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley can substitute with spinach or other greens
For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper adjust to taste
For the Wrap
  • 4 large tortillas whole wheat tortillas can be used

Method
 

Step-by-step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix together shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, minced garlic, and chopped parsley until creamy and well combined.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to incorporate the seasonings throughout.
  3. Lay out your tortillas and add a generous scoop of the chicken mixture to the center of each tortilla.
  4. Carefully roll each tortilla from one end, tucking in the sides as you go.
  5. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down and cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Once browned, flip and cook the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove from the skillet, let cool for a minute, and slice each wrap in half for serving.
