- In a food processor, combine the strained cottage cheese, creamy natural peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and optional salt. Pulse the mixture for about 45-60 seconds until it reaches a smooth consistency.
- If your mousse mixture appears too thick, gradually blend in 1-2 tablespoons of milk, a little at a time. Blend for another 15-30 seconds until fully incorporated.
- Once blended to perfection, transfer the mousse into a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap or a lid. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
- After chilling, take the mousse out of the refrigerator and portion it into serving bowls or jars. Top each serving with fresh fruit, nuts, or a drizzle of honey.
