  • 1 cup buttermilk replace with milk mixed with vinegar if necessary

  • 1 teaspoon paprika smoked paprika can be used for a charred flavor
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste

For the Wrap

  • 2 cups shredded lettuce spinach is a good alternative
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes cherry tomatoes are handy for quick prep
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Monterey Jack or your favorite cheese can be swapped
  • 4 slices bacon turkey bacon is a lighter alternative
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing can mix with barbecue or blue cheese dressing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice boneless, skinless chicken breasts into thin strips and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Set up your breading station with shallow dishes: flour, buttermilk, and panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Coat marinated chicken in flour, dip in buttermilk, then roll in panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Fry breaded chicken strips until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Reduce heat and cook the bacon in the same skillet until crispy, then crumble.
  6. Spread ranch dressing on a tortilla and layer with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, chicken strips, and crumbled bacon.
  7. Fold sides of the tortilla inward and roll tightly. Slice in half diagonally to serve.
