Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound total)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of cooked bacon chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 4 slices of bread your choice
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the seasoned chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Once cooled, shred the chicken using two forks and mix it in a bowl with the chopped bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and ranch dressing until well combined.
  5. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  6. Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Spoon half of the chicken mixture onto each slice of bread in the skillet. Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
  8. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
