Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 pounds)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably Italian seasoned
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Method
 

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs until well mixed.
  4. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, ensuring it is fully coated.
  5. Next, coat the chicken in the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating.
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated chicken breasts in the basket in a single layer, making sure they do not touch.
  7. Lightly spray the tops of the chicken with cooking spray for extra crispiness.
  8. Cook in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  9. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
