  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese Add spinach to mix in for flavor

  • 2-3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For sautéing

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil or butter, add minced garlic and chopped mushrooms, sauté for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour for 1-2 minutes, gradually add milk and stir until thickens; add nutmeg.
  5. Layer the baking dish with béchamel sauce, lasagna noodles, mushroom mixture, mozzarella, and ricotta, repeat, and finish with sauce and cheese on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden.
  7. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
