Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese, ½ cup of mayonnaise, ⅓ cup of chopped pecans, and 2 finely sliced green onions. Stir until well-blended and creamy.
  2. Transfer the creamy blend into a 9x9-inch baking dish and smooth the mixture into an even layer.
  3. Spoon about ¾ cup of raspberry preserves over the cheese mixture and gently spread into an even layer.
  4. Cover the dip with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for at least 1 hour.
  5. When ready to serve, remove the dip from the refrigerator and arrange buttery crackers around the dish.
