Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces rotini or fusilli pasta
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls halved
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and chopped basil.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss gently to combine, ensuring everything is well coated.
  5. Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Before serving, taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
