Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the chicken thighs skin-side down for about 5 minutes.
  3. Transfer the browned chicken to a foil-lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, until cooked through.
  4. Sauté white mushrooms in another skillet with some oil for 3 minutes until golden.
  5. Add cooked bacon to the mushrooms, pour in heavy cream, and mix in thyme and salt; simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Pour the creamy mushroom sauce over the baked chicken and serve.
