- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a mini muffin tin by greasing it lightly or lining it with paper cups.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and slice each triangle in half. Press each triangle into the prepared muffin cups.
- Spoon approximately 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling into each dough-lined muffin cup, then add 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans or orange zest over the filling for added crunch and flavor.
- Bake for 11–13 minutes, until golden brown and puffed. Keep an eye on them to avoid overbaking.
- Cool for about 5 minutes before gently lifting the bites out of the tin and serve warm.
