  • 1 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning adjust to your taste
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika can substitute with regular paprika
For the Final Touch
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese or substitute with Pecorino Romano or nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley can be omitted if you're out of fresh herbs

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions, usually around 8–10 minutes. During the last 2–3 minutes, add the broccoli florets to the pot. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Sear chicken for about 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in the skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard, and then add the lemon juice and zest. Cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, along with the pasta and broccoli. Toss everything together and gradually add reserved pasta water for desired sauce consistency.
  6. Mix in grated Parmesan cheese, parsley, and chives until the cheese melts and the dish is creamy.
