Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2-3 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce adjust based on heat preference
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.
  2. Add the chipotle peppers (with some adobo sauce), minced garlic, lime juice, smoked paprika, and ground cumin to the bowl.
  3. Use a fork or whisk to blend all the ingredients together until well combined and creamy.
  4. Taste the sauce and season with salt and pepper as needed. Adjust the chipotle peppers for desired heat.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
